With the deadline for the withdrawal of nominations in Madhya Pradesh ending on Monday evening, there are now 2587 candidates who will contest the state assembly polls on November 25.
The ruling BJP will contest all 230 assembly segments, while the Congress will field candidates for 229 seats, as the nomination of the Congress candidate from Deosar has been rejected.
The BSP and the SP-led third front will contest most of the assembly segments.
Meanwhile, the BJP has filed a complaint against Congress before the election commission accusing it of spreading misleading information to people through its charge sheet.
In Mizoram, 142 candidates are in the poll fray.
The ruling Congress Party is contesting all 40 assembly constituencies, while the opposition Mizoram Democratic Alliance(MDA) is also doing the same.

The Zoram national Party(ZNP) is contesting 38 seats followed by BJP in 17 , NCP in 2, JMB party in 1 constituency and 4 Independent candidates including 1 female.
A total of 686305 voters will exercise their franchise in Mizoram. Female voters exceed male voters by 12,707.
In Rajasthan, over 850 candidates filed their nomination papers yesterday.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot filed his nomination from Sardarpura and State BJP President Vasundhara Raje from Jhalrapatan.
More than 1300 candidates have filed their nomination papers so far for 200 Assembly seats.
Tuesday is the last day for the filing of nomination papers in the state.
