In yet another incident of road rage in the national capital, a 36-year-old man was beaten to death after a minor accident in the Delhi's Turkman Gate area.
According to reports, the incident took place when Shahnawaz (victim) was returning home on his motorcycle along with his two children.
He was taken to LNJP hospital following the incident but was declared to have been brought dead.
After the incident, locals in the area protested against the police alleging inaction in the case.
Police is examining CCTVs installed in the area to identify the assailants.
Earlier in the day, Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi had assured that all those involved in the road rage incident will be brought to justice.
"It is an unfortunate incident of road rage, where a young man has been killed. We are going to ensure that all those who are involved in this incident are brought to justice," Bassi told the media here.
"We have already arrested one person; his name is Wasim. The rest four are absconding, very soon we will arrest them," he added.
