At least four students have been hit by a gunfire in a classroom in Westlake district of Los Angeles.
One boy was shot in the head, a girl was shot in the wrist and two others had not sustained significant injuries, reported CNN.
According to local media, police has taken a 12-year-old girl into custody in this connection.
Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Officer Drake Madison said they received a report of shots fired at 8:55 a.m on Thursday.
The shooting took place near Belmont High School. The campus also shares a property with Castro Middle School, Madison said.
