An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale struck Fiji on Tuesday morning.
The epicenter of the quake is around 317 kilometers from Fiji's capital Suva, and around 224 kilometers from Levuka.
The tremor has a depth of 568.4 km, according to the US Geological Survey.
No deaths or casualties have been reported yet.
Fiji lies in one of the most seismically active areas of the world, as the Australian and Pacific plates have high rates of convergence.
