At least five police officers were injured in an exchange of fire that took place with a suspect here in Harding.
Houston Police said the officers who were shot at have been taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, Medical Center and Ben Taub General Hospital for treatment.

"The scene at 7800 Harding is still an active crime scene. Please avoid the area." read another tweet.
A number of top police officials, including Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, are at the spot to investigate the crime scene.
