83 passengers of Asiana Airlines flight that crash-landed in San Francisco on July 6 have decided to sue aircraft manufacturer Boeing Company, a Chicago law firm said.

The CBS reports that Ribbeck Law Chartered has filed a petition in Cook County Circuit Court in Chicago to help preserve evidence in the July 6 crash.

According to the report, the crash might have been caused by a mechanical malfunction of the auto-throttle.

Some sliding ramps had reportedly opened inside the plane, injuring passengers and blocking their exit.
