Congress leader J P Aggarwal on Friday said that the Aam Aadmi Party Government is doing politics of blaming on dengue as it could not complete its work in time.

"It is Kejriwal's mistake, because his government has not taken any step which can help the patients get cured. The test for dengue should be done without any charge. They could not complete their work in time. This is the reason why they are doing the politics of blaming now," Aggarwal told ANI.

"Enquiry committee should be there to investigate about the money given to MCD. Only issuing statements won't help. As the Chief Minister of Delhi, he must take this step," he added.

In wake of the rising cases of dengue in the national capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday alleged that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) was not spending the amount allotted to it for development of the city.

Kejriwal, who made a surprise visit to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital here, said that spraying mosquito repellants require no money.

"They (MCD) keep saying 'paisa, paisa, paisa'. It doesn't take money to spray dengue medicines," said Kejriwal.
