Justifying the CBI raid on the Delhi Secretariat, Minister of State for Environment and Forests Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday alleged that the hypocrisy of Aam Aadmi Party, which was formed on the basis of anti-corruption movement, has been exposed.
Javadekar dubbed Kejriwal's reaction on the CBI raid as 'atrocious'.
"The CBI (conducts) raids only when they receive a credible complaint and they want to investigate the corruption. Does Arvind Kejriwal want to protect corruption?" asked Javadekar.
"Instead of immediately taking action against his own officials, who are found for corruption, he is accusing the Prime Minister. This is worst kind of politics," he added.
Javadekar alleged this is the worst scenario Delhi has ever witnessed as a sitting Chief Minister is protecting corruption.
"This is the hypocrisy of politics. He should act against corruption, but he is accusing the Prime Minister of politics. This is absolutely unacceptable. He is exposed thoroughly," he said.
