An Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) delegation on Wednesday met Delhi's Lieutenant Governor, Najeeb Jung and formally requested him to revise his letter to the President this time seeking dissolution of the Delhi Assembly.

"We have requested the LG that the letter in which he has written to the President to seek permission from him to allow the BJP to form government in Delhi should be revised as the BJP is indulging in horse trading in order to form government here. The BJP cannot solve problems related to price rise, corruption and hospitals. If such a government is formed by buying MLA's offering them four crores would be a betrayal to the people of Delhi. That's why we have requested that the content of his letter should be revised and this time he should seek dissolution of the Delhi Assembly," said AAP leader Manish Sisodia to the media persons after his meeting with the Delhi Lieutenant Governor here.

"We have requested the LG that we had met him a few days back. Last time when we came here to meet LG, all the MLAs have come here and narrated their story how they were tempted with money. Then he had said if all these were happening then we should do a sting. We had given a copy of sting where there were attempts to buy our MLA Dinesh Mohania by offering him four crores for BJP to form government in Delhi," he added.

Sisodia said that the Lieutenant Governor stated that he will look into this matter after hearing their party's plea.

"He (LG) has said that he will look into this matter .....we hope that he will change his recommendation and send a new letter to the President that it is difficult to form government in Delhi in view of horse trading...," Sisodia further added.

Earlier on Tuesday, Kejriwal had said that the Lieutenant Governor needs to revise his letter to President Pranab Mukherjee and tell him that the BJP shouldn't be invited to form a government in Delhi after the sting operation conducted by the party, in which BJP leader Sher Singh Dagar had allegedly tried to bribe AAP MLAs.

Kejriwal also said that the party would be filing an FIR and a petition with the Election Commission against the BJP on the basis of the sting operation.

The apex court had earlier asked the Centre to take a decision on holding Delhi Assembly elections following a petition filed by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) asking for the dissolution of the Assembly and fresh polls.

Delhi has been under President's rule since Arvind Kejriwal resigned as chief minister February 14 after being in office for 49 days.

The BJP won 31 seats in the 70-member house but now has 28 legislators after three were elected to the Lok Sabha in the general elections held in April-May. The AAP also has 28 MLAs representing it.
