Bangladesh spinner Abdur Razzak has reportedly been recalled to the Test squad for the first Test against New Zealand in Chittagong, ending his two-year absence from the Test team.
The left-armer played the last of his nine Tests in August 2011, even though he has been a regular member of the limited-overs side for the past few years.
According to the Daily Times, the 14-man squad, which will be captained by Mushfiqur Rahim, will play in two Tests, three one-day internationals and one Twenty20 match against the touring New Zealand.
The report mentioned that the team for the first Test also includes two uncapped players namely Marshall Ayub and seamer Al-Amin Hossain following their consistent performances in domestic cricket.
The Test squad for the first Test, starting from October 9, includes Rahim (captain), Mahmud Ullah, Anamul Haque, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Nasir Hossain, Razzak, Naeem Islam, Sohag Gazi, Rubel Hossain, Muminul Hoque, Ayub, Robiul Islam, Hossain.
