A sports enthusiast Abhishek Bachchan, who has left no stone unturned to promote kabaddi and football in India, feels U-17 Football World Cup will help the Indian players showcase their talents on the world stage.
"The Under-17 football is a huge platform for our boys to show their talent. I wish them all the best. It is a huge honour for India to host the Under-17 World Cup, which according to me, is very competitive. I really hope that we can bring out international talent from India that will go abroad and play in the best and biggest leagues," he said here, during an event.
The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be the 17th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the U17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
