Just two days after six public works department (PWD) officials were quizzed by it, the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has now called more officials today for questioning, in the alleged PWD scam.

The ACB will question the engineers on the entire process, from receiving the bills to clearing them and the verification steps followed by the department in awarding contracts.

They will also be asked if they were under any pressure to clear the bills.

Earlier, the ACB had registered three FIRs, of which one is against the firm owned by Surender Bansal, late brother-in-law of chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.

An ACB team had conducted a raid at the PWD office in north-west Delhi on Thursday.

The complainant in the cases, Rahul Sharma, complained to the police that he has received death threats from unidentified numbers since he lodged his complaint.

Sharma of the Roads Anti Corruption Organisation (RACO) had filed a complaint against Bansal, proprietor of a construction firm, and a public servant for alleged irregularities in the grant of contracts for roads and sewer lines in Delhi.

In another case, the ACB on Sunday sent a summons notice to the political advisor of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Vaibhav Kumar in connection with water tanker scam.

Kumar will be interrogated by the ACB on May 17.

Yesterday, Mishra alleged corruption in the AAP funding while stating that facts were concealed from the Income Tax department.

Mishra said, "For three continuous years, black money was converted into white and spent on foreign trips of AAP leaders. AAP did not inform about some of its fundings which it received from fake companies."

"I will file a case against Arvind Kejriwal in Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday in connection with conversion of black money to white," the AAP leader said.
