Accused who opened fire at BJP MLA's home escapes from police custody

An accused who had opened fire on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA house has escaped from police custody on Monday.

Anoop Sharma dodged police and fled while he was being taken to district hospital for medical check up.

Sharma was arrested for firing at Firozabad MLA Manish Asija's home on September 20.

Police are trying to nab the absconding accused.
