Adele is reportedly in talks to sign 80million pounds deal with music giant Sony that would rope in the singer despite her own label.
The 'Someone Like You' hitmaker is supposed to come out with her new album with her label XL Recordings, however, head honchos at Sony are trying to "buy her out" of the obligation, the Mirror reported.
A source said that Sony wanted the 26-year-old singer and they will stop at nothing to get her and the money was absolutely huge but they hope the singer will sign for her own label.
The source added that it meant that the Brit singer will keep a higher percentage of profits from record sales and the proposed tour.
The singer is already signed to Sony in the US although XL looks after her releases elsewhere.
