Ban on Pakistani actors. US Presidential elections. And now demonetisation. Be it any stupefying issue, you can always trust netizens to tickle your funny bones in any tense situation, with their sarcastic quips, jokes and memes.

The latest spoof surfacing the internet draws a funny parallel between 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and the love-hate affair Indians are currently experiencing with the 1000 and 2000 rupees bills.

Titled 'Ae Bill Hai Mushkil', it shows Ranbir Kapoor as a common man, Anushka Sharma as a 1000 rupee and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the new 2000 rupee note.

The hilarious clip shows Ranbir to be madly in love with Anushka, the 1000 rupee note before November but is now struggling with a sudden ban and has found his new love in Aishwarya, the 2000 rupee note.

Standing in long queues to get your old notes exchanged taking a toll on you?
