Afghan President Ashraf Ghani today left on a two-day official visit to Tajikistan on the invitation of his counterpart Emomali Rahmon.
During his trip, the Afghan President will hold meetings with Tajik officials, including Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda, the head of parliament, TOLO News reports.
Ghani will discuss on improving relations between the two countries. A cooperation agreement will also be signed by the official of both countries during his visit.
The Afghan President will also speak at Tajikistan's National University.
