Two years after he was banned from the cycling fraternity, former cyclist Lance Armstrong is although a persona non grata yet he is still well received in society and thinks that despite everything, day-today life is positive.
Armstrong claims that he has never had an awkward moment with anyone in day-to-day life because of what transpired in his cycling career, reported the CNN.
He was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles after admitting that he took performance-enhancing drugs and was banned for life by the United States Anti-Doping Agency in August 2012.
His legal tussle with the U.S. Federal Government over its sponsorship of his former cycling team may cost him 100 million dollars but he's positive about the case too. He thinks the U.S. Postal Service "got what they bargained for."
He also took full responsibility for everything and said that he doesn't want to blame anybody for what happened.
He said that he seeks his refuge in biking, playing golf and beer. He also added that he has been thinking of writing a book for some time but he wants it to be "raw, intense and transparent.
