after the meeting.

"We also told the President that LG sir is directly issuing instructions to officers bypassing the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers," he added.

The Lieutenant Governor had also met President Mukherjee earlier in the day.

Jung had appointed senior bureaucrat Shakuntala Gamlin as the acting Chief Secretary despite strong opposition from Kejriwal.

The Kejriwal government, however, had levelled serious allegations against Gamlin accusing her of being extremely close to power distribution companies in Delhi. Kejriwal also sent her a letter
asking her not to take up the post as her appointment was against rules.
