Kathmandu (Nepal), Nov.25 (ANI): Madheshi leaders on Wednesday warned that they plan to launch aggressive protests in the Madhesh region of Nepal to highlight their anger over the murder of four Madheshi protesters by Nepal's armed police force in Saptari.
The warning comes just ahead of the opening of the parliament, and it is being said that the unwarranted police firing has left a majority of Madhesis in a state of anguish.
The Madhesis are already involved in an economic blockade on the Indo-Nepal borders, including in Birgunj and Virat Nagar, in protest against the newly adopted constitution.
The Sanukt Madeshi Morcha forum held a meeting with leaders and decided to kick start an aggressive protest against the Government of Nepal for the killing of innocent Madheshi leaders.
Madheshi Jan Adhikar Forum Nepal party leader Sunita Shah told ANI that the Madheshis will enhance the blockade at the Indo-Nepal border and launch more protests against government institutions located in the Madhesh region.

Several Madheshi protesters are still sitting in no man's land between India and Nepal at Birgunj and in other parts of South East and South West Nepal. The blockade has hit the vegetable, fruit and fuel supply line to Nepal very hard.
Meanwhile, the Himalayan Times reported today that Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Sharma Oli had meetings with Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadar and UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at his official residence in Baluwatar.
The discussion reportedly focused on current issues, including the Terai-Madhes problem, the paper quoted the Prime Minister's press advisor, Pramod Dahal, as saying.
On the occasion, Pushpa Kamal Dahal reportedly apprised the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister about his informal talks with the agitating Madhes-centric parties on Tuesday and efforts made for addressing their issues.
