Indonesian divers have reached the fuselage of AirAsia flight QZ8501 and recovered four bodies from the Java Sea where the plane crashed last month.
SB Supriyadi, a rescue agency official co-ordinating the search said that the divers have reached the fuselage but had been unable to retrieve it due to debris and various cables, reported News24.
He also said that the rescue operation for AirAsia bodies was also hampered due to bad weather conditions.
Officials hope they would recover most of the bodies from the fuselage and will plan a thorough assessment to retrieve the bodies.
Flight QZ8501 crashed on December 28 with 162 people onboard while it was travelling from Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore.
