Indian shuttler Ajay Jayaram produced a resilient performance to progress through to the men's singles quarterfinals of the Korea Open Superseries here on Thursday.
Jayaram recovered from a set down to claim a 17-21, 21-15, 21-15 win over Wong Wing Ki Vincent of Hong Kong at the SK Handball Stadium.
Meanwhile, double-World Championship bronze medallist PV Sindhu crashed out of the tournament after suffering a straight set 16-21, 13-21 defeat against Japan's Sayaka Takahashi in the women's singles second round.
