England all-rounder Moeen Ali believes that his side should learn from India's aggressive style of play if they want to turn around their dismal ODI form.
England is 3-0 down in the five-match ODI series following three heavy defeats, with only Friday's match at Headingley remaining.
Ali, who backed under-fire captain Alastair Cook, said that watching the way the Indians bat, one could learn a lot from the way the tourists approach it. He added that they play with no fear and if there is a risk, the visitors just take it, The BBC reported.
After coming from behind to win the Test series 3-1, England's weaknesses in the ODI format have been ruthlessly exposed only six months before the World Cup. They have been bowled out inside their allotted 50 overs in all three completed matches, with 227 their highest score, and were thrashed by nine wickets on Tuesday at Edgbaston with 19.3 overs to spare as India clinched the series.
Ali, who responded to his recall to the side by hitting 67 off 52 balls in Birmingham, urged more of his teammates to follow his lead. The Worcestershire left-hander said that take it to them, and added that there is no point in being the same and getting out the same way all the time.
The all-rounder also said that watching someone like India batsman Suresh Raina in the first game, they were in trouble and he came out and played the way he played, adding that he took a few risks and India came off.
England will be without batsman Ian Bell at Headingley because of a fractured toe, but have not called up a replacement, the report added.
