Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen scored a late equalizer to help his side hold Arsenal to a 3-3 draw in their Premier League clash at Anfield.
24-year-old Roberto Firmino netted a goal in the 10th minute of the match to put his side ahead before Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey leveled the score just four minutes later.
Firmino came up with his second goal in the 19th minute to provide his side with the lead again, the Guardian reported.
Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud scored a brace for his side, first in the 25th minute and then in the 55th minute of the game, to make it 3-2 against the hosts.
It was in the 90th minute when Allen leveled the score to deny league leaders Arsenal with another victory.
Top-placed Arsenal have won 13 games so far while Liverpool are at ninth spot, with 8 wins.
Arsenal will now lock horns with Stoke City and Liverpool will play against Manchester United on January 11.
