According to a statement from her parents' lawyer, the 27-year-old was moved to the Canyon rehab centre in Malibu less than a month ago, TMZ.com reported.
In the statement, the lawyer said Bynes is making "great strides towards recovery" and that "she is getting specialized psych care, one on one treatment, not drug rehab."
Sources told the publication that Bynes is able to walk around the grounds, see the ocean and ride horses.
