Disgraced Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir, who was named in the ODI and T20 squad, has been granted visa for the upcoming tour to New Zealand.

Confirming the news, Immigration New Zealand (INZ) manager Michael Carley said they had approved a visitor visa for Amir to travel to New Zealand, the Express Tribune reported.

Carley added that Amir's visa was approved after taking into consideration all the circumstances and purpose of the visit.

Earlier, Amir's return in the 26-member national fitness camp in Lahore saw divided opinions coming out from the national team.

Amir, along with former skipper Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif, were found guilty of various offences of corrupt behaviour relating to the Lords Test between England and Pakistan in August 2010 by the independent Anti-Corruption Tribunal on February 5, 2011.

Pakistan will play three-match ODIs and three-match T20s starting from January 15.
