Highlighting the scams that unfolded during the Congress-led UPA regime, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Saturday hailed his party's transparent governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past 11 months.

Minister Narendra Modi has done immense work in the last 11 months," Shah said at a rally here.

"The people were doubtful about the country's future during the UPA regime. There was no safety for women, there was rampant inflation, the industries were getting closed and growth had come to a

halt...There were all kinds of scams during their regime be it the 2G scam, CWG scam, VVIP chopper scam," he added.

The BJP president also thanked the party workers for making BJP the world's largest political party.
