Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah's visit to Jharkhand will prove effective in bolstering the enthusiasm of party workers ahead of the state assembly elections.

"That a normal worker of BJP has become the president of BJP so he will understand that feelings of workers. His visit will be worth for this state to effectively work on its problems. This is very clear that people of this state will give mandate to BJP again," Pradhan said.

"In this coming assembly election, the BJP is going with the agenda which the Prime Minister had said last month wherein he had said that we cannot tolerate the backwardness of Jharkhand. We need a strong and stable government in Jharkhand with full majority," he added.

Shah will be interacting with the BJP workers in Ranchi during his visit to Jharkhand.

Shah's maiden visit to Jharkhand ahead of the assembly elections expected by the end of this year is considered to be a significant move in order to achieve mission 42 plus for the party as he may prove to be a power-booster for the BJP.

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is presently ruling Jharkhand with the Congress.
