South Africa batsman Hashim Amla has conceded that fellow injured bowler Morne Morkel is unlikely to play in the ODI series decider against India in Mumbai on Sunday.

"I don't think Morne is fit enough to play tomorrow. He bowled in the nets..probably will make final decision tomorrow but I don't think he will be fit," Amla said at a press conference ahead of the fifth and final ODI at the Wankhade Stadium.

The 32-year-old batsman also believes that losing the services of their all-rounder JP Duminy was a huge loss for his side, but insisted that they have talented players in the squad to clinch the five-match series.

"JP has been unbelievably consistent performer for us over the last few years. He adds a great balance to the team with his off-spin as well. So it has changed things a bit in the team but that's why you have a squad is for. No big series is ever won on 11 players..you usually have 15 players to contribute for different times," he added.

Fast bowler Morkel sustained a leg injury during his match-winning performance of 4 for 39 in Rajkot and was subsequently ruled out the fourth ODI in Chennai.
