Amnesty International has said in a report that Qatar's construction sector is rife with abuse, as work begins on the 2022 FIFA World Cup stadiums.
According to the BBC, the rights group said one manager had referred to workers as animals.
Qatari officials have said conditions will be suitable for those involved in construction of World Cup facilities, according to the report.
It has not yet commented on the latest report, the report said.
Amnesty said it conducted interviews with 210 workers, employers and government officials for its report, The Dark Side of Migration: Spotlight on Qatar's construction sector ahead of the World Cup, the report mentioned.
