The Andhra Pradesh government will be inaugurating the three-day Agricultural Technology (Agri Tech) Summit 2017 at Visakhapatnam on November 15.
While speaking to media at the state Secretariat, Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said, "The summit is aimed at bringing cutting edge technologies in the agriculture sector to the aid of small and marginal farmers in the state."
The minister also informed that BANK of Industry, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will also be a partner for the summit.
The foundation's founder Bill Gates will also participate in the valedictory function on November 17.
Reddy further said that the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be organising partner while Dalburg Consultants will act as content partners.
Entrepreneurs, start-up companies, technocrats, scientists and farmers will also take part in the summit.
