Veteran actor Anupam Kher went back to square one to release the first two official posters of his upcoming movie 'Ranchi Diaries' today.
The movie, directed by Sattwik Mohanty, was released in the complex at Kherwadi, Bandra (East), where Kher used to put up during his initial days in the Bollywood.
Speaking about the reason behind choosing such a place for the launch, he told ANI, "When I was planning on how to release the first poster of Ranchi Diaries, it popped up in my mind, why not taking the cast and crew to the place where I began my career from. I entered this house on 6th August 1981. This was the reference point of my life. So I thought it will be the most amazing thing to bring these people, who are starting their journey now, here, so that they understand that all you need to do is hard work and keep faith in it."
'Ranchi Diaries' stars 'Yaariyan' actor Himansh Kohli, Soundarya Sharma, Taaha Shah, Satish Kaushik, Jimmy Sheirgill and Kher himself.
Produced by Coconut Motion Pictures, Actor Prepares Mumbai and Phoenix Film Factorie, the film is scheduled to release on October 5.
