Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader, K C Tyagi on Monday stated that no person who has self-respect would like to be a proposer of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
"Whosoever has self-respect will never like to become a proposer of Narendra Modi candidature," Tyagi said.
Reports suggest that the family of late shehnai maestro Bismillah Khan has declined the offer to propose Narendra Modi's candidature from Varanasi. Khan's son, Zamin Husain, refused to being a proposer of Modi when he was approached by the BJP.
