As the Telegu Desam Party (TDP) continues protesting over accordance of special status for Andhra Pradesh, a party MP, Naramalli Sivaprasad, dressed up as Sathya Sai Baba to support the cause.
The TDP MP, who is known for donning various avatars to protest against the Centre, was seen in this role outside Parliament, where a number of party leaders were seen raising slogans on the special status issue.
Last week, Sivaprasad was seen decked up as Annamayya, a famous poet, and devotee of Lord Balaji, while protesting against the Centre over the same issue.
Sivaprasad, on the last day of the Parliament's Budget Session, dressed in clothes similar to that of sage Vishvamitra.
After sporting different avatars, from that of a cattle herder to a schoolboy to Narad Muni- Sivaprasad was also spotted in a 'Parashurama' avatar.
A doctor by profession, Sivaprasad has acted in movies too. He became a lawmaker in 1999 and has served in Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet as a minister.
Andhra's ruling party and the Centre have been at loggerheads for the past few months over the special status issue.
