An Australian report reveals that Apple may lose half of iPhone 6 buyers if it does not increase its screen size.
Figures from Telsyte's Australian Smartphone Market Study reveal Apple's big risk, showing two in five people intending to buy a new iPhone would change their minds if the handset did not have a screen larger than four inches, CNET reported.
The sudden drop in Apple customers could cripple the company's chances of leading the smartphone market again, a position it once held by a large margin.
Telsyte managing director Foad Fadaghi revealed that Apple may lose 40 percent of consumers if they don't release a large-screen phone this year, the report said.
He added that consumers are demanding larger screens. Apple has been persistent with their screen sizes which has created an advantage for the rival company Google.
