Apple has rolled out the first software update for its watch, since it was launched a month ago across nine countries.
The new 1.0.1 of Watch OS contains mostly bug fixes and performance improvements to Siri, accessibility, and third-party apps, which proved to be sluggish when the watch first shipped on April 24, reported The Verge.
In a bid to optimise the wearable device's health and fitness features, Apple has also improved the way it measured users' standing activity and calculated calories burnt during indoor cycling and rowing activities. The changes should also result in more accurate pace and distance data for outdoor runs and walks, Apple said.
Users can install the new update by opening up the Apple Watch app on iOS, tapping the General tab, and then picking Software Update.
