Aretha Franklin has defended President Barack Obama's spelling mistake during the White House tribute to the 'Women of Soul'.
Speaking about the president misspelling her empowerment anthem, accidentally calling it "R-S-P-E-C-T", which led to laughter in the room, the 71-year-old American singer said that he must have been "a little tired", Fox News reported.
She added that no offense was taken and she shares mutual respect with Obama.
