Security forces' operation to eliminate the militants in Pindi Kathar area of R S Pura in Jammu and Kashmir is reportedly still in progress.
The BSF had confirmed yesterday that three civilians and three militants had been killed in the encounter, while three Army men were left injured in the gun battle.
As per reports, at least one militant is still holed up in a bunker.
According to reports, the militants snuck into Indian territory by taking advantage of unprovoked small arms firing from across the border earlier today. The Border Security Force (BSF) had cordoned off the area after the villagers reported the movement of militants.
