American golf legend Arnold Palmer is confident that world number one Tiger Woods can bounce back from his recent surgery for a pinched nerve in his back and once again challenge to win major championships.
Woods withdrew from last month's Arnold Palmer Invitational, an event he won eight times in the past, because of his back pain and has been stuck on 14 majors since winning the 2008 US Open.
According to Sport24, seven-time Major winning Palmer, who is credited with helping to popularize the sport with his daring style of play and charisma, said that the 14-time Major winner is a good physical condition and has taken the right decision to operate.
Palmer, a winner of 62 PGA Tour titles, further said that the American is also determined enough in his personality and his well-being that he will overcome any of the problems that might be created physically, adding that he believes Woods is still a potential player to be worried about as he has the ability to win future Majors.
