Midfielder Mesut Ozil scored an early goal as Arsenal returned back in the Premier League title race after claiming a 2-0 triumph over Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium on Sunday.
Ozil and midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain smashed two quick-fire goals within a span of one minute to give his side a much-needed win.
Ozil, who opened his side's account in the 23rd minute of the match, scored his sixth goal of the season, the Guardian reported.
Arsenal, which climbed to the top of the table when they last defeated Bournemouth at home, won only the first of five Premier League matches since then and failed to score in their previous three games.
With the win, Arsenal, which are currently third in standings, have now set up a clash with surprise league leaders Leicester City on February 14.
