Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Prashant Bhushan, who has been ousted from the party's national executive, on Saturday said he is ashamed of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal recent remarks on him and Yogendra Yadav.
Extremely upset with the difference of opinion within the party, Bhushan said Kejriwal's statement reflected that the AAP was just like any other party.
"I am ashamed to say that what Arvind said, 'that had it been any other party they (Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav) would have been kicked out'; he has done exactly that today. This just shows that AAP is like any other party. Is this the culture of our party? Did we make this party for hooliganism?" said Bhushan.
"I have been telling him this that he has dictatorial tendencies and he must curb those. But instead of curbing those tendencies, he is willing to use his dictatorial powers," he added.
Earlier in the day, AAP's founder members Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were removed from the party's national executive. Anand Kumar and Ajit Jha were also removed the national executive.
Talking to the media after the meeting that was chaired by AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, Yogendra Yadav said that democracy has been murdered in the meet.
He accused Kejriwal of doing nothing when the national council members were being beaten and alleged that the meeting was an orchestrated performance.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh, however, later said the reports of scuffle during the meeting are completely baseless and untrue.
