Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole has revealed that he would be leaving boss Jose Mourinho's squad after eight years with the club.
Cole, who has been used sparingly since Mourinho returned to the club this season, tweeted that he is weighing up his options for playing next season with his agent, adding that sadly it does not look like Chelsea would be one of them.
According to the Mirror, Cole further tweeted that he can only say thank you to Chelsea's fans for giving the squad confidence to win some amazing trophies.
The left-back again tweeted that this tweet is for his fans that have stood buy him through thick and thin, adding that he would always have his fans in his heart.
The Englishman further tweeted that he would now be looking for another journey in his life and hopes that it could be like his others full of fun and that he wins something of course.
Cole has made 229 appearances for Chelsea and won one Premier League, four FA Cups, a League Cup and the Champions League with the club, the report added.
