Indian athlete Sudha Singh settled for a silver medal in women's 3000m steeplechase event of the ongoing 18th edition of the Asian Games here on Monday.
The 32-year-old Indian star acquired the second spot after clocking 9:40:03 in the finals of the event.
Winfred Yavi from Bahrain finished on top of the podium with a clock timing of 9:36:52, while Vietnamese athlete Thi Oanh Nguyen settled for the bronze medal after clocking 9:43:83.
Chinta, another Indian in the fray, finished the event at the 11th spot with a final timing of 10:26:21.
India's total medal tally at the prestigious tournament now stands at 39 with seven gold, 12 silver and 20 bronze.
