Actor Jay Chou is set to star in Jon M Chu's upcoming sequel film 'Now You See Me 2.'
The Lionsgate's project would see the Taiwan-born Chou, who's Asia's one of the most popular musicians, join the original 2013 film's stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, Michael Caine and Dave Franco, Deadline.com reported.
The film, which was penned by Pete Chiarelli and Ed Solomon, has also signed Daniel Radcliffe and Lizzy Caplan, and is being produced by Bobby Cohen, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, with Lionsgate's Erik Feig and Geoff Shaevitz.
The sequel will take off a year after the Four Horseman outwitted the FBI with their mind-bending tricks, when they come face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet.
