This year, the race for admission for each of the 54,000 seats available under Delhi University's four year undergraduate course has begun, and will continue till June 16.
Although this year, Delhi University is making efforts to ensure that the admission process is smoother and uniform, it seems to be of no help, as confused and skeptical students from across the country are facing an intense competition for seats, especially, when it comes to applying for the centralized forms.
Compounding their misery is Delhi's blazing summer.
"We are facing a lot of problems because of heat, but still, we have to seek admission, and for that, we have to make compromises. And now, it all depends on our luck if we will get admission or not," said Neetu, a student.
The constant pressure of trying to get into the desired college and their battle with the heat wave, has not stopped these aspiring applicants from taking appropriate health measures, such as keeping themselves hydrated and covered, using umbrellas and a lot more.
Delhi's heat, it seems, has not affected some prospective student fashionistas, who don't shy away from using trendy shades and beautiful scarfs.
