At least 11 people have been killed and 19 people were injured during in a collision between a passenger bus and a truck.
The accident took place when a speeding bus collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on Khushab Road near Nasirabad, Jhang, reports Dawn.
The bus was travelling from Karachi to Khushab.
The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Five of the injured were said to be in a critical condition.
Poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving are cited as common reasons behind accidents in Pakistan.
More than 4,600 people were killed in road traffic accidents in 2013, which is the last year the government released official data on the matter.
