With this year's world championship round the corner, Australia's Twenty20 team is readying itself for bettering its ranking as the squad plans on throwing a final blow on England in Hobart.
Australia is currently placed eighth on the ICC rankings with minnows Ireland trailing behind by one place.
The team has arrived in Hobart to play its first three matches against England, who were taken down at 5-0 in the Ashes and 4-1 in the one-day international series, the SMH reported.
Australian wicketkeeper cum batsman Matt Wade said the team was desperate to improve the nation's fortunes in the game's shortest format.
