An aviation fanatic from San Francisco has created a stunning minutely detailed four feet long model of Air India Boeing 777 out of paper.
Luca Iaconi-Stewart, 22, spent five years, around 10,000 man hours and used up 400 manila folders to painstakingly build the 1:60 scale replica complete with engine-fan blades and economy, business and first class seats, CNN reported.
According to the report, the seats alone took 20 minutes of cutting, folding, fiddling and gluing.
The model maker admitted that the progress on the plane was especially tricky in the beginning because there were no publicly available assembly drawings.
Iaconi-Stewart said that he spent a lot of time making drawings from pictures and got hold of a maintenance manual for people who maintain airplanes.
He added that in theory, his plane could fly if he designed it properly but it'd have to be a lot lighter and with more moving parts.
