The 30-year-old songstress made the announcement on Instagram, posting their wedding day picture, reports TMZ.com.
The 'Girlfriend' hit-maker captioned the picture, "It is with a heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today ... we are still, and forever will be, the best of friends.
