Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh addressed a gathering at the Ayurved Sammelan in Raipur on Saturday and said that Ayurveda has evolved over the course of years.
While addressing the mass at the P. Ravi Shankar Vishvavidyalaya, an institution he is an alumni of, he said, "I was here 45 years ago. We had a lot of problems during our time and a lot of work has been done to change things. Ayurveda has reached a respectable stage today."
He also lauded the efforts made by the people in Chhattisgarh, which have helped Ayurveda to prosper in the state.
"More than 1000 doctors are working today. It is a big thing in itself. Chhattisgarh has worked a lot and I congratulated them for it," he said.
