Congress leader Manish Tewari on Saturday said that people at the helm of Babri Masjid obliteration are now absorbing essential positions in the government.
"Today is a very tragic day in the history of India. 22 years ago, the Babri Masjid was demolished. Those who were responsible for annihilation are occupying important positions in government," said Tewari.
On December 6, 1992, a mob of Hindu religious volunteers demolished the Babri mosque allegedly been built by the Mughal ruler Babar in the sixteenth century at a place where Lord Ram temple existed. Hindus regard Ayodhya as the birth place of Lord Rama.
